My quick debate review: Biden knows his shit. Palin? Not so much.

Let the in the tank right wingers crow that Sarah Palin didn't sound like the dolt she sounded like in interviews. It's true, but it's hardly the story. The story is that despite a performance that couldn't have gone much better for her, Palin still got crushed.

Tell the pollsters that the winner was Joe Biden. He displayed a solid grasp of the issues, delivered plans for fixing them, and his seriousness matched the gravity of the situation.

Palin did not dispell her image "as a smugly uncurious, spectacularly ill-informed patsy."
