John McCain: still only talking to his base

Last night's debate made one thing crystal clear: John McCain is running a base campaign. From Sarah Palin to Ayers to ACORN it's all code meant to impress the 30% of the population who still fall for the Right's divisive bull. It's actually pretty amazing that McCain has managed to keep polling at 40%.
