No More Right Wing Judges!
Tell Senator Dianne Feinstein to Reject The Nomination of Richard Honaker.
The Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled a hearing for February 12th on the nomination of Richard Honaker to the federal district court in Wyoming, a hearing that Senator Feinstein (D-CA) will chair. Throughout his career, Mr. Honaker has actively worked to undermine a woman's right to choose.
Enough with the right wing judges! Why would we possibly place another choice of a lame-duck president with Nixon-like approval ratings to the federal bench? Dubyah has already appointed nearly 300 judges to the federal courts, including 57 court of appeals judges and two Supreme Court justices. Many of these judges will likely serve for decades, shaping the law for a generation to come.
We may get rid of Dubyah and Darth on 1/20/09, but their right wing judicial appointees will chip away our personal freedoms for many years.
It is crucial that you contact Senator Feinstein now and urge her to reject Richard Honaker's nomination.

Thanks.
