ThinkProgress: "The Bush administration is threatening that it will issue furlough notices to up to 150,000 civilian workers at military bases in mid-December if Congress does not approve unrestricted Iraq funding immediately."

Meanwhile, the White House's fully admits this disgusting political ploy is all about playing with peoples lives in order to "remind" Congress who's in charge. Disgraceful.

Update: Maybe I was too quick. This may actually scrape the bottom of the 'Support Our Troops' barrel.

Update II: And, let's remember, and repeat often, just who is responsible for the war funding shortfall:
