Kudos, not criticism

Hypocrisy is the buzz word on the Internets today after last night's resignation of the president's former AIDS czar, and abstinence only crusader, Deputy Secretary of State Randall L. Tobias. It seems Tobias was very busy getting "massages" from prostitutes. No sex, of course, was involved.

I simply do not see the hypocrisy here.

If anything, Mr. Tobias was being true to his abstinence cause by only allowing these women to massage him. If anything, Mr. Tobias was saving others from having sex by keeping his call girls busy (and abstinent) during his massage-only time. If anything, the man should be commended for taking one for the team, not derided for another example of GOP hypocrisy.

The Internets can be so harsh sometimes.
