Lieberman does lunch

Editor & Publisher today gives us a sneak peak at next week's Time magazine where we learn that poor Joe Lieberman had "stopped attending the weekly Democratic lunch because he didn't feel comfortable discussing Iraq there." Boo fuckin' hoo. However, Harry Reid caved to traitor Joe and agreed not to discuss Iraq at the weekly luncheon, and Lieberman "has started attending again." Now, I know the Dems don't want Joe to flip, to which Time quotes Joe as saying it's still "a remote possibility," but seriously, to placate Lieberman by not discussing Iraq in front of him is ridiculous, and a bit disturbing, to say the least.

Thankfully, however, Joe does discuss Iraq, except it's with National Security Adviser Stephen Hadley who Joe keeps in touch with "every week or two." Talk about living in a bubble. Thanks again, Connecticut.

Update: Full Time article can be found here. Plus, David Sirota weighs in on Joe and his potential GOP flip. Sirota is willing to kiss Joe goodbye, and I kinda agree.
