The Accidental President

The story of the day today will obviously be the death of president number 38, Gerald Ford. I don't have much to say about Mr. Ford beyond the obvious condolences. To date myself a bit, Gerald Ford was the first president I was aware of as a kid. I don't remember Nixon at all -- which is probably a good thing -- and what I do remember about Ford is forever tainted by Chevy Chase doing Ford on the original Saturday Night Live. So, RIP, Mr. President, you should thank George W. Bush for making you (and a whole lotta Republicans) look good in comparison.
