Maybe the president was better off last week when no one would listen to him. This gem comes to us from today's Rose Garden stump speech press conference:

I'm amazed that this is a society which so wants to be free that they’re willing to — you know, that there’s a level of violence that they tolerate.

The Iraqi people don't "tolerate" anything, they have no choice, you dismissive ass. No choice. You, Mr. President, had a choice. You chose chaos. You chose death. You chose war.

How is it possible this man is still president? And how is it possible that he'll be president for two more years?
