A compromise has been reached on torture and guess what? We are all winners. Yay!

McCain brushed off any talk about who prevailed in this showdown with the White House, saying, "We're all winners because we've been able to come to an agreement through a process of negotiations and consensus."

Sure the president won, he got to look strong on terror. Sure the GOP won, they got to look strong standing up to the president. Sure the people of Iraq won, oh, wait, Iraq who? Sure the innocent victims swept up in random terror raids won, oh, wait, Maher Arar who?
