Anticipation

Maybe the Bush administration should start a Ministry of Anticipation, because these guys obviously need help in the forward thinking department. Hell, even a psychic would do. This quote can be found in today's NYT. That's right, TODAY'S NYT.

“I don’t think we moved too quickly,” General Caldwell said of putting the Iraqis in charge of Baghdad. “I don’t think anyone could have anticipated the sectarian violence.”

I could have anticipated the damn sectarian violence. What's wrong with these people?
