Why Do They Hate Our Country?

In yet another flip-flop, the corrupt Republicans were for tough immigration reform before they were against it.

The provision making illegal immigration a felony was contained in an immigration reform bill passed by the House in December. But in a joint statement issued Tuesday evening, House Speaker Dennis Hastert of Illinois and Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist of Tennessee both indicated they wanted the language dropped.

Now that they see that their position is untenable, and with the worries of the upcoming midterm elections, and with the plummeting approval rating of their "brand", they need to pander to everybody different than themselves (uh, white, moneyed males). They can't pick a political position based on intelligence, integrity, and reason and stick with it for better or for worse. Of course, their original position was bullshit to begin with, but the way they are handling this shows how scared they are these days. And rightly so.

Corrupt Republicans - their idea of security is to kick everybody out and build a wall while selling the ports to the highest bidder. Unless you protest.
