Wannabe Heir to the Throne


John McCain has no shame.

Example one:

Not only is John McCain lapping at the heels of President Bush, but he also wants the Bushes on his campaign team. This is the same campaign team that whispered McCain out of the presidential race in 2000. Shh... he's unstable. Shh... his wife is a drug addict. Shh... he's got an illegitimate black baby. Shh... he's such a kiss-ass now that he is willing to over look it. Bygones, you know.

Example two:
McCain, who has spearheaded an investigation into Abramoff's misdeeds, appears to be letting Norquist off the hook, despite the fact that Norquist's fingerprints are all over Jack's dealings.

Norquist and McCain have hated each other for about a decade, since McCain started pushing for campaign finance reform, TNR's Ryan Lizza tells us. Norquist, whose livelihood depends on the sizeable GOP power base he maintains in part by directing donations to various candidates and organizations, doesn't take kindly to McCain trying to swipe his lunch money. Feud, what feud? So, McCain let's Grover off the hook and justice falls to the wayside. And why? Because he wants Grover's cash and he wants Grover's votes.

John McCain has no shame, and while we are at it, no morals either. All in a days work for the kiss-ass-who-would-be-king.
