Speculation

Today in the NYT Adam Nagourney and Elisabeth Bumiller speculate on the speculating regarding all the speculation that Bush is going to add a new key member to his White House staff. Forgive me as I speculate on their speculation but can any less information be imparted by one speculative paragraph:
It is not clear what role a new appointee would take on, or whether Mr. Bush, known for his loyalty, would be able to make a change without diminishing the standing of Mr. Card and Mr. Rove. Nor is it certain that Mr. Bush will even make a change.
My take on all this speculation is that I don't give a rat's ass. Appointing a new man in the White House will not change the reality that the rest of the administration is a bunch of incompetent bastards who have profited off the deaths of thousands and who really couldn't give a crap how these last three years play out anyway. For them the mission was accomplished. For us, not so much.

Speculate more.
