Just Say It, Tom!!

As is being reported on CNN, King George was clearly warned of the likelihood of a failure of the levees in holding back water before Hurricane Katrine struck. I'm not going to cut and paste each snippet here, as you have undoubtedly read it thousands of other places. I just want to quote the last line from Tom Foreman:

"What this really is, Wolf, is visual confirmation of things we've known all along which is that the administration was told explicity what was coming despite the fact they denied it later on."

Seriously Tom, you expect us to believe that? You've known all along that the King LIED and somehow that never made it onto the air? Did you just forget to say it? A search of CNN.com for "bush levees" returns a ton of results referencing W's statement, but none of them cast any doubt on the credibility of the statement. So what; you're all standing around the water cooler discussing the obvious lie, but as soon as the cameras start rolling your complete lack of journalistic ethics kicks in?

Even now, you have to dance around the truth. "...despite the fact they denied it later on." Say it!! "Bush Lied!!" Use the word: "LIED". Close your eyes and picture Bill Clinton, if it makes you feel good. JUST SAY IT!!

I promise you'll be able to look at yourself in the mirror tomorrow with more self-esteem than you've got today.

And just so you know: Hurricane Katrina - 1300 dead & 2300 missing.
