Fight Club for the Oughts

Okay kids, I just got back from seeing V for Vendetta and I just have to share. Basically all I want to do right now is run through the fucking streets and cause some good old fashioned mayhem. All movies made before this one are so pre-9/11. V for Vendetta is, hands down, the best movie made in the post 9/11 era. George Bush and Tony Blair should be bound, gagged, and forced to watch this movie over, and over again, a la A Clockwork Orange. Come to think of it, pull up a chair for Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as well. Media control, gay rights, civil rights, fear mongering, it's all in there. Not to mention the cinematic wrapping it's delivered in is brilliant as well. The Wachowski brothers should be given a medal.

I will not say anything more except GO SEE THIS MOVIE. Then tell your friends to go see it. If this movie were a blog I would link to it and send you all there with a click of the mouse, but I cannot, it's brick and mortar, so use your feet, expend some energy, and go.
