Blair Channels Bush

Tony Blair, taking another page out of the George Bush playbook, declares that, "God will be my judge on Iraq." Read on from the Independent [UK]:

Explaining how he managed to live with the decision to go to war in Iraq, Mr Blair replied: "If you have faith about these things then you realise that judgement is made by other people. If you believe in God, it's made by God as well."

While this statement by Blair deserves my outrage. I'll leave the expression of outrage to a loved one who lost a child because "God" likes bombing people.

How can he say he is a Christian? A Christian would never put people out there to be killed.

"A good Christian wouldn't be for this war. I'm actually quite disgusted by the comments. It's a joke."

I have to say this again. Please, all sides, all religions, leave God out of the conversation. She really doesn't like being made the scapegoat.
