From Creature's post yesterday on whether or not this is shit-hit-the-fan day, the bodies of 40 civilians were "were found handcuffed, blindfolded and shot dead." Apparently all were Sunnis, in response to the attack on the Shiite Mosque. CNN is reporting

In addition, 50 Sunni mosques were attacked Wednesday in Baghdad after the brazen early morning strike on Al-Askariya Mosque.

CNN is also saying the death toll is at 54, including Sunni imams. If Civil War shit-hitting-the-fan is not happening, said shit just barely missed the fan. This time...
